Appointments

We book by appointment only and ask you make every effort to keep your appointed time. We request 24-hours notice if you need to change your appointment. Additionally, we offer email and/or text appointment reminders. Simply provide your name, email address, and cell phone number. We have several easy ways to sign-up:

Insurance and Billing

We accept most traditional insurance plans, contact our office to verify acceptance of your plan. James Hutson, DDS, PC does not participate in Health Management Organizations; however, we will be happy to file your insurance claims for you. We accept checks, cash or credit cards. We also offer a flexible payment plan. Please see our Financial Coordinator for details. We are happy to file insurance for your reimbursement as long as you are free to choose your own dentist.

Financing Options

We will file with any dental insurance company, on your behalf. You are responsible for any portion your insurance company does not pay.

Our office is what is commonly known as a 'Fee for Service' office. This simply means we are an independent provider of services and not in a predetermined insurance network. The Consumer Guide to Dentistry explains this concept best, "Fee for service dentistry provides people with high quality, appropriate treatment for their needs in exchange for a fair fee considering the time, care, skill, judgment and materials required to render that treatment".

Below is a summary of our financial procedures and policies:

• Payment is due on the day of service.
• We accept checks, cash, and major credit cards.
• We file insurance as a courtesy. However, your portion is due when you check-in.

We do not offer any payment plans in the office. As an alternative, you may apply for financing with Care Credit Company at www.carecredit.com .
