Occasionally we are asked if we participate in managed care plans (HMO’s or DMO’s).or called In Network Plans.
For the benefit of our patients, we have chosen to remain a private care practice. Out of Network Plan.
Several factors were taken into consideration in this decision …
· Managed care is structured for an increased volume of patients, which allows less time for individualized interaction. We like the quality time we spend with each and every one of our patients.
· Fee becomes a main factor in care, rather than what is in the best interest of the individual.
· Long range goals in one’s dental health are compromised due to the cost-containment factor dictated by the insurance companies. We refuse to let an insurance company dictate to us the care we give to our patients.
· There is too much emphasis on the bottom line and not enough on the desires of the patient. We feel it is important to meet your wishes and desires for a healthy mouth. For these reasons, we have chosen to serve those who entrust the health and beauty of their smiles to the standard of care we believe they deserve.
Our practice is structured to attend to your needs on an individual basis at every visit. Our goal as a staff is to see that you get exceptional one on one care each visit to our office.
